Original painting on linen - created using foraged earth pigments from London, Scotland and Hampshire. Framed in a solid oak floating tray frame measuring 33 x 22.5 x 4 cm.

This artwork from the 'Soft Fascination' collection draws inspiration from moments of dappled light - slowly drifting and changing. They represent subtle, delicate imaginings of these fleeting moments in time. Each brushstroke carefully brings to life the softness and beauty of these fluid transitions. This collection embraces a need for hope, not mindless but purposeful hope.

The Artist

Mixing her own foraged earth pigments to create bespoke handmade watercolours, Lisa’s careful and delicate paintings explore our relationship to the earth’s resources. She is a passionate advocate of eco-consciousness and her work focuses on sustainability, climate change and the nature of existence. Each of her feathery, delicate marks ask us to consider our own individual marks, footprints, patterns and impact in the world, alongside the interconnectedness of all things.

This collection of works is inspired by the beauty of the natural world - cloud formations, dappled light and long evening shadows. Lisa explores the calming effects of being fully present and mindful living teachings, reflecting on how these ideas can transform our relationship with the Earth.
