Uncovered | Katie Mawson

Exhibition 6 - 21st December & 13 - 27th January

We are delighted to welcome new artist Katie Mawson to Glasshouse with her solo exhibition 'Uncovered'.

Katie’s tactile artworks are created from vintage cloth bound books - often discovered in charity shops. These faded covers, marked through time, carry a life already etched upon their surface. Their colours and textures form her palette and canvas as she slices and rips these cloths from their board - deconstructing to reconstruct something new.

Through the Whispering Pines | Alanna Eakin

27th September - 27th October

Contemporary London based artist Alanna Eakin leads us through painterly portals into distant, imagined lands. With her signature use of saturated, electric colour and abstracted, expressive mark-making we travel to dreamscapes which are otherworldly and yet connected to our human experience - engaging our curiosity and allowing us to weave a personal narrative. A celebration of the surreal, the nostalgic, and the instinct to escape.
